Science Fair
Our Science Fair is one of the most important events held during the school year. This Fair aims to encourage and promote scientific research, create a scientific and technological culture and integrate the entire educational community in the scientific projects.
Pan-American Fair
The Pan-American Fair aims to exalt the values, ideals and culture of the American countries and foster in our students feelings of brotherhood and solidarity with them. April 14 has been declared Pan-American Day.
Christmas Concert
The Christmas Concert is the most awaited event by students and parents. Every year there is a colorful show where our students, from toddlers through 12th grade, are the actors and actresses.
Cultural-Academic Field Trip
Our School schedules tours and excursions for our students with the objective of giving them the opportunity of enriched experiences and relate theory to practice in cultural, historical or scientific areas.
Cila (Conferencia Internacional de Las Americas)
Each year, our students participate in this event, organized by the Dominican Association of the United Nations and The Global Foundation. The Conferencia Internacional de Las Americas (CILA) is held in Bavaro and constitutes a very meaningful experience for our students who have to defend position papers defending the countries they are assigned and the current issues on discussion.
The United Nations Model in New York
The United Nations Model in New York is another activity where our students have had important participation. This event enables students to speak about the main issues and challenges the international community is facing today and brainstorm about possible solutions.
Contest
The Genius Cats
This contest takes place every two years since 2003, causing great excitement and anticipation within our entire school community. It is most competitive event among the finest academic high school students. The objective of this activity is to promote and celebrate academic excellence through healthy competition of knowledge. All areas are integrated in this contest: Social Studies, Science, Literature, current affairs and general knowledge.
Spelling Bee Contest
The Spelling Bee Contest encourages the students to practice the vocabulary and spelling of the English language.
Math Olympics
This contest develops in students, passion for Mathematics. The competition encourages the development of logical thinking, problem solving skills in a creative and competitive, way.
Christmas Stories
This competition is a novelty in our program, and will be developed from December 2010. It aims to promote values and writing skills through literature.
