transportation.pngIt service has been created to facilitate parents who live on the outskirts of the school or are affected for their work schedule. There are 10 bus routes covering both Santo Domingo East and part of the National District.

At present, and given the volume of students who must carry this service is offered by independent persons dedicated exclusively to our school. The length of the routes is more or less one hour. We strongly reccomend to parents and students reading the policies of school transportation.
 
 
Regulations:

The safety of school transportation is a shared task in which students, parents, drivers and school have something to contribute.
 
For you student

  1. Get up on time.  Unless no such ready compel the driver to drive faster than normal, the risk of an accident
  2. Never take out the head or arms out of the window. It is very dangerous. 
  3. You must travel and stay seated in your assigned place. 
  4. You may not eat or drink during the service. 
  5. You do not throw garbage through the windows or inside the transport unit.
  6. Traveling quiet. If you and your friends are screaming or fighting, and distract the driver, an accident may occur. 
  7. Ups and Downs of the bus always on the side of the sidewalk, without pushing or careers.
  8. Avoid shouting, insults, foul language and obscene expressions within and outside the transport unit that damage the image of the institution and your own. 
  9. Before getting out of the vehicle, check that you have not forgotten objects or school supplies or garbage.
  10. Tell your teacher or your parents if you see that the driver drives in a reckless or is not respectful to others. 
  11. Respects the driver’s school. He takes care of you while you go on the bus.

And obviously, in this area parents also have homework:


At home, adults have an important role to play to help the travel of students between school and home is comfortable and, above all, safe.
  1. Obey hours, taking the student ready when the bus arrives. You must be ready 5 minutes before to avoid delay in the journey and arrival at the school.
  2. If it is possible, teach your child your full name, address and telephone number where they can contact a family adult in the event of an emergency.
  3. It is the duty of you to be in your home when you get your child or a person responsible for him / her, otherwise the student will be returned to school remain the responsibility of the parent pick it up. Plan carefully for solving unexpected situations greatly reduce the anxiety of your child. 
  4. If it becomes known in advance that there will be an absence, it must notify the assistant driver or the day before. 
  5. Do not allow your child to the bus between eating and taking any food. 
  6. If you live on high ground, beneath wait for the bus to arrive at the collection as the arrival of his child. 
  7. If not using the Transport Service to return to his home, the student is obliged to notify the Department of the school by giving written notice signed by the parent and or guardian.

The Transportation Service:


  1. It is the obligation of service, which units and personnel have the same official documentation and regulatory force.
  2. The service should provide transport assistance of an adult school for the entire route. 
  3. Get to know the parents of students before the start of class or school routes. 
  4. It is the duty of maintaining service units in good condition, clean and mechanically competent to provide a quality service. 
  5. Handle with due caution and without speeding. 
  6. In the event that any unit suffers mechanical damage during the route, it is the duty of transport, advice students who are waiting. 
  7. It is not allowed to drivers of school bus carrying students to a different address than the one selected at the time of registration at school. 
  8. Everyone in the service of others, in no case can get on the vehicle. 
  9. The weather map may not exceed the 60-minute journey of the students, both outbound and return in the service offered.

The School:

  1. Ensure that all measures above outlined are implemented and enforced.
  2. The school administration may be deprived of the right to use the service, the number of days deemed to be appropriate, those students who fail to comply with this rule.
